Duo Chen-Darvish

Anny and I met during our studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. We play a repertoire from different eras of music, from Giuliani and Paganini to Monti, Piazzolla and Brahms. We look forward to playing concerts on the stage as well as musically accompanying private events.

Anny Chen is a Canadian-Taiwanese violinist. She did her early studies at the Purcell School for Young Musicians in England. Later on she enrolled the Royal College of Music for further studies and then changed to HfMT Hamburg to study with the renowned professor Tanja Becker-Bender. She is now finishing her master's degree and was an academist at the prestigious NDR Philharmonie Orchestra for the 2017/18 season. She is also a scholarship recipient of Oscar und Vera Ritter Stiftung.
