Milad was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. Still a child, he discovered his passion for the guitar. Inspired by Pepe Romero's CD 'La Grandeza España', he decided to study classical guitar at the University of Arts in Tehran with Dr. Mehrdad Pakbaz. In the meanwhile he got the chance to play at some of the most prestigious concert halls in Iran like Roudaki and Andisheh Hall.
After having attended some of the biggest classical guitar festivals in Europe and taken masterclasses with the world's most outstanding guitarists like Alvaro Pierri, Marcin Dylla, Scott Tennant, Carlo Marchione, Zoran Dukic and Pavel Steidl, he decided to pursue his musical studies in Europe, first in Vienna with Jorgos Panetsos and since 2015 in Hamburg with Olaf van Gonnissen.
Milad enjoys both solo and chamber music. Besides playing original solo pieces by Ponce, Tedesco and Martin, he also arranges works by Bach and Dowland. As a chamber musician he regularly performs with singers, flutists and violinists, not only standard works but also music by rather forgotten composers such as Christian-Gottlieb Scheidler.
Milad also gives guitar lessons to both children and adults of different levels, privately and at the state youth music school in Hamburg.
